I have had my original Moonbeam for at least 20 years. I've divided and transplanted pieces all over my yard. The only one that doesn't do well (i.e. doesn't bloom as much) is in more shade than sun. I figured I can't even kill it anywhere else so I'll see what happens in shade.

I get a lot of bloom time from Moonbeam, too. After it's initial flush of flowers I give it a good haircut and it reblooms soon after. Wonderful plant for me.
