Yes, Route 66, it even made it throught the winter. Love the feathery foliage. The flowers are great too.

I bought a little "Center Stage" last fall. It's breaking dormancy now. I'm anxious to see this one in bloom.

Nice, Cinda. I have Creme Brulee and it's one of my favorites. It does very well here in my zone.

I know we are talking perennial here and this is an annual , but worth showing off .
It reseeds well so might as well be a perennial , and sometimes even winters over if the plant germinated late and has not had time to bloom

Dwarf red coreopsis

OOOOH, I like that red. Threadleafs do not do well here generally. Tried Redshift, Route 66 and Sienna Sunset. All gone the first year, prolly from the clay soil and extreme summer last year. Planted a few others in the years before and they also didn't make it. But, then I don't use much supplemental water either. Although, Cosmic Eye and Pinwheel are on the second year and I have hopes for them. The strong ones here seem to be Early Sunrise, Nana, and Jethro Tull.

I have this variety but can't remember the name. Very hardy here and comes back each year BUT can overwhelm alot of other plants.

And Julia, what a lovely setting. I think that one might be C. 'Baby Sun' or 'Rising Sun'.

I have another one if I can find the photo from last year.

It may be Baby Sun. The original plant has been divided so many times and reseeds so I have it popping up all over the garden. I do know I have to trim off the dead flowers every so often and it keeps on blooming all season long. I wish they had this type in another color. Seems the wider leaf variety holds up better here.

Beautiful pictures! My moonbeam died last year after I divided it. It was beautiful and flowered freely all summer, I accidentally buried it when I added extra mulch to bed, a lot of extra mulch. I would like to get another one plus something orange or red, any suggestions.

I agree ... the threadleafs don't do so well for me when it gets really hot in the summer. They act like biennials here and that's about it. 'Moonbeam' included.

I love coreopsis and have a few some no longer with me. They are not long lived here .The best and hardiest is Zagreb

I have had my original Moonbeam for at least 20 years. I've divided and transplanted pieces all over my yard. The only one that doesn't do well (i.e. doesn't bloom as much) is in more shade than sun. I figured I can't even kill it anywhere else so I'll see what happens in shade.

I get a lot of bloom time from Moonbeam, too. After it's initial flush of flowers I give it a good haircut and it reblooms soon after. Wonderful plant for me.
