That's not my soil ( I wish ), it's one of the club members. We have dark, mucky, doesn't drain clay. Where she puts these (she always cares for the sale plants) is next to her vegetable garden. I'm sure this soil has been amended well because I don't know anyone that has naturally good soil here.

We have hail once in a blue moon and I'm so glad. I couldn't deal with golf ball size hail. I'm glad yours wasn't that big.
