My neighborhood hummies had visitiors today. Ruby-Throats, maybe?

In the evening I had to bring the feeder in to rinse it out and fill it. When I came back, the male Black-chinned was waiting very impatiently...like how dare I remove HIS feeder? As I put it up he zoomed in close and showed me his purple gorget...ooh, so pretty...wish my head had a camera attached! He usually doesn't come near me. I wonder if he was just mad about the interlopers.
Another hummer.

Integrity can never be taken. It can only be given, and I wasn't going to give it up to these people. Gary Mowad
