OH Anna... maybe they have peacocks.. I hear that's why there's so many peacocks kept in India.. as they are hard on snakes... one family I knew in AL was moving to a new home they built on a low area near a small river.. and used the peacocks to keep the snakes [ rattlers and cotton mouths there ] away from the house..
