Absolutely! I agree Or you can just stand back with a paintbrush full of paint & "flick" different colors at the barrel.

Hey, if you're heavy into patriotic, it shouldn't be too hard to paint red, white & blue stripes.

C'mon guys --- get out there & try it! And like critter says; whatever you do has to look better than the color it comes in even if you paint it a solid color. Just make sure to use that paint that's for outdoor plastics.

How about using stencils? Then you just have to paint inside the lines.
