I had a similar incident. I found this little guy looking worse for wear last month in a pot of Gold Dust Dracaena. I think it is a Baby Doll Ti Plant.
We definitely need a shot of the stem to get a better idea of what free plant you have.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.
