Yes, I agree with Todd. Can't decide on a favorite.

Fred, DD graduated in '07, a year early, with double majors in Latin American Studies/American Studies and emphasis in cultural history and preservation. She had a year's credit going in 'cause she entered from high school with an International Baccalaureate Diploma (double higher levels in 3-D art and languages). Her preservation research work was published while at Smith. Since graduation she continues to research and write for publication, including an article in the compendium to the National Geographic, Ken Burns, National Parks series on PBS, as well as a forward to a DIY restoration book. She received her Master's in American Studies and certification in Preservation from G.W.U. last May and is a Preservation Historian with the National Register (one of the people who reviews and recommends nominations to the National Register. She's packed a lot in in just twenty four years! She has the Preservation Station cubit here but has not had much time to devote. We are enormously proud of her accomplishments! Hurray! Forgive my lapse into bragging. Lovey dubby *Blush* Smith is a great school because of its great women. Alumnae Gloria Steinhem's commencement speech says it all. http://www.smith.edu/collegere... Their engineering school is first rate. Seemed like every engineering grad that year either got a Fulbright, a Ford Foundation or National Science Foundation fellowship. Okay, Kathy, you can have your cubit back. Big Grin
