I'm kimkats and I can usually be found over on the daylily forum.
I have a question reguarding broken Lily stalks. If a stalk gets broken off by fat birds resting on it will the bulb send up another stalk and bloom this year? or am I out of luck for bloom this Year? I had two beautiful thick tall (3'already)bloom stalks on Lillium commander and both have been broken off within the past week by fat crows sitting on them
I don't have many true lilies since I'm deathly allergic to the fragrance or pollen. Yet I love them. I'm so mad I may not see these this year
