I have used metal window blind slats that had to be removed because the blind was too long for the window. Those work great and cut easily. Never thought to use plastic silverware. What a cool idea. And since I hate eating with the flimsy white plastic ones they send with take out/delivery food, I have just been stockpiling them in a bag. Now I can put them to good use!
