Hi! It is definitely a Guzmania Bromeliad, sorry I should have specified. The tips of the flower definitely got a little crispy, I assume from letting it get too dry at some point but I also don't know how long it has been flowering (I got it I May, already flowered with two pups sprouting). (I have trouble getting good close up shots with my camera and my apartment has terrible lighting so I'm making up for quality with quantity...hopefully one of these shows you something useful!)
