I lost one last year too (can't remember the name - it was a Ghio). Actually I lost three -- I liked the Iris so well that I splurged and bought three of them for a jump-start to a good sized clump. I never did that before. All three died -- that never happened before either. When I contacted the seller, he told me that if I ordered Irises this year he'd include replacement rhizomes, and suggested I join an Iris club or society to learn how to grow Irises. I was livid. In almost forty years of Iris growing, I've never lost one before. Think maybe something was wrong with those rhizomes? Yah. I won't be doing business with him again -- it was a name grower too.
Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com)
