I have to laugh when Doglover saids she only lives on 1 acre. My house is on a typical suburban lot - maybe 0.25 acres, which includes the house.
But, I do live on a corner lot, so I have a little more room in the frontyard. But, even with those limitations, I have managed to cram about 48 peony plants in it - mostly herbaceaous, some tree peonies and two ITOH.
