Hello Dave, I was just wondering about the herb Summer Savory (Satureja hortensis) or even Winter Savory (Satureja montana) as a possibility for your plant in the Hugel Plant Combination called 'Some weed'.
My father always had the annual variety - Summer Savory coming up in his vegetable gardens. He especially liked it with Green Beans, so Mom always cooked them with Bohnenkraut as that is what is was called in Germany. It seeds itself willingly, and pops up in my garden too.

- When I saw this photo I burst out laughing - first I saw it was from Jacksonville, and then I saw that it was YOUR Photo!!! How about that!

(And by the way, I love the picture of you in our threads.)
