Mark, I'm curious what you did with your Clematis. Did you dig them up and transplant them? Or did you let them grow?

I realize whatever you did, by now you've already done. But from the look of the picture these don't look like baby volunteer plants. They simply look like new growth from the spreading rootball of the Clematis plant. My plants do the same thing every spring.

Just noticed your post and was wondering.
