Did you notice I have not mulched a single spot yet. I've never gone this long without mulch. I was waiting till the little maple seeds got through falling and now they have and the cotton wood is doing its thing, blowing in the wind, so it's time to mulch. But the weeds are back and they come first. See, it's a never ending cycle and I have too many little garden areas and not enough time, not enough of me to go around.

But it's fun anyway.
