Beautiful pictures, everyone!

The gardens here look like mid-August; they're so dry.

The Dutch and TB Iris are handling it okay, though the roses are struggling a bit. Peony blooms are opening, but are only lasting a day or so in the heat.

Just a few minutes ago a cold front blew in, so that may help a bit. No rain, but at least it's a break from the unrelenting hot sun.


I must say that it's been a really enjoyable spring, however; it's nice (for once) to be able to be outdoors - sans stinky spray, without being eaten alive by mosquitoes and gnats!
