I can't believe how much is blooming this time of year. I'm at least 4 weeks ahead of myself. Not to mention the yard is actually *STARTING* to look like what I envisioned it 3 years ago. Well, not really, but the minibed is what I'm expecting my entire yard to look like in a few years.

Speaking of which, here's the minibed. This sits on the north side of my house on the east side of the garage and it has REALLY taken off since I got rid of the aspen that shaded it. The 4th picture is all the way up to my overhang on my porch, which is mostly shaded throughout the day.

The "east" side of my house in the front yard (not the actually yard part, but my rocked in area.. I'm slowly getting rid of the rocks & will be mulching it this year) is also blooming like crazy. Here's where Charles de Mills, Orange Velvet, Rose Maria Viaud, Theresa Bugnet, Lady Banks/Cecila Bruner, Henry Fonda, Ruby Ruby, and Betty Boop are (plus a new Blue Girl & Sterling Silver). In front of that area is Sunny Delite / Escapade / Sunny Delite next to a Charisma, my original Blue Girl, and Medallion.

Charles de Mills & Orange Velvet (my first RU rose to survive), and Lady Banks/Cecile Bruner (I'm just going to start calling this rose Cecile Bruner.. I may get rid of her as I don't care for pinks like this one)

Mardi Gras. My version of Old Faithful.

Outta the Blue was transplanted last year from the back side west side of the house to the front yard. She's leggy, so I gotta figure out what to do with that. And her blooms are weird this year. Probably because of the transplant.

Sheila's Perfume is just going crazy!! I love these blooms!

Picante is definitely a show-stopper this year. Tall stately blooms, but no scent. :(

That's OK, Golden Masterpiece is showing everyone how it's done.

Tequila Sun-something-or-another is starting to open up too. Tiny little blooms but definitely bouquet worthy. The white fuzzy looking stuff everywhere is from the neighbors' cottonwood trees. I *HATE* cottonwoods!!! They make SUCH a mess!!!

One of the roses I got from Cliff I had forgotten what it was supposed to look like, so I just HMF it. Thank goodness I bought Pandemonium!

In the back yard, another of Cliff's roses is now blooming. Distant Drums.

And Chris Evert is pretty happy where I put her I guess. This is the second set of blooms she's put out since I bought her 3 weeks ago on 5/5.

I didn't have time this morning to poke around & find the tag, so right now, I'm going to call this a NoID. I think it's another Cliff rose.

My Golden Rain tree is coming along nicely, too.
