My tree lupin has tons of buds on it!
The whole plant has laid down and sent out lots of side shoots with buds which are going skywards, a plant which is laid sideways or at an angle will naturally try to send upward shoots so it's a good idea to leave it that way. It remained upright over winter though, and kept all it's leaves with no damage to the stem or leaves! We had some quite hard frosts too, one down to -15C (5F). I can't wait to see the flowers!
