I love poppies. What kind of poppies? When did you plant them? Do you have any pix to share?

I tried "bread seed" (euphemism) by seed a couple of years ago and they were a bust. I probably started them way too late and it hotted up before they did much of anything. In this area I'd need to get them in by October. To find plants, I'd need to make the 60 mile trek to Houston.
