Steve - It had a beautiful true Perfect Moment blossom open when I bought it, which is why I bought it. Plus it has a real Weeks tag on it stating it's Perfect Moment, so I think it's just one of those wacky 'first blooms are gonna be screwed up' type blossoms. And that no id DOES look like Gold Medal.. great eye!!
