Hello. I'm new to the Nat'l Gardening Assoc. and this forum. I was wondering if anyone might know what the white spots on my Amaryllis leaves are. I searched the internet and didn't find anything that resembled what I'm seeing on my leaves. I purchased the bulb ("Spotlight") from Gardener's Supply in October and I think it's a really good bulb. I have it indoors. However, I had to repot it right before the first stalk bloomed because the soil (from my local nursery) turned out to be infested with gnats. I repotted it in new potting soil that was stored inside the store, with a new pot -- and no more gnats.
The stalk produced 5 beautiful blooms. Now the second stalk is on its way, but I'm concerned about the leaves. Wondering if too much direct sun through the window can do this.
Thank you.
