Welcome!

Are you planning to keep your lily in a pot or plant it out of the yard?

Your lily is blooming this time of year because it was forced to. The usual bloom time is summer. In the mean time, you have to keep it green and happy so the bulb can rejuvenate to survive the winter and bloom again. When the flowers die, there should be a stem of green leaves. Keep the plant in a sunny location and water to keep the soil moist. After the stem dies (late summer, fall) pot it into a larger pot or plant it out in the yard. Forced bulbs struggle to survive, they expend too muh energy in blooming early. Hopefully you can keep yours alive.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
