I have this same issue. I had read somewhere that it is caused by too much direct sun. Since moving mine out of direct sun, it appears that the newer leaves (closer to the end of the stem) don't have the spots. The older leaves, of course, still have them, since I guess they won't lose the spots once they develop them.
