My two money plants (Pilea peperomiodes) are healthy and growing well under lights and next to a window. However some of the leaves are covered with small yellow spots. The spots don't show on the leaf underside of the leaf and they are otherwise healthy looking. Only about a third of the leaves on each plant show this. Anyone have an idea of what's causing this?

Some discussion on that from a while ago: The thread "Pilea Peperomioides -yellow spots?!" in Ask a Question forum

I think over-watering might be more of a culprit than underwatering.
Hard to tell but I don't think lighting is an issue so I'd guess maybe too moist too often.

I have this same issue. I had read somewhere that it is caused by too much direct sun. Since moving mine out of direct sun, it appears that the newer leaves (closer to the end of the stem) don't have the spots. The older leaves, of course, still have them, since I guess they won't lose the spots once they develop them.

Thanks for the info.
Glad to hear it's helped.

Considered originally also, but the first post photos don't show anywhere near what I'd deem equivalent to full sun so I moved on to moisture.
