I admit I've done that too. Syrup in a leaf-shaped bottle, or bottle shaped like a tiny jug, can't resist. I get jelly in jars that have handles & are great for drinking or plants. Love using wine bottles, a particular brand of root beer has a pretty blue label and I keep all of those bottles. I've bought some kind of coconut liqueur twice to get the globe shaped bottles. Vases are usually too tippy to use outside, but pitchers & sauce jars are awesome. Cobalt is my fav, and I have a few purple glass things. In the fall when I need a bunch in a short amount of time, beer bottles get invited to the party but something with a bigger opening is preferred for most stems.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
