Let's see them!
This is a salt shaker whose top got rusty. I like the wider base for stability.

Love them all!
I've bought food store items 'partly' because they are in a fun jar. Like Oui yogurt.

I admit I've done that too. Syrup in a leaf-shaped bottle, or bottle shaped like a tiny jug, can't resist. I get jelly in jars that have handles & are great for drinking or plants. Love using wine bottles, a particular brand of root beer has a pretty blue label and I keep all of those bottles. I've bought some kind of coconut liqueur twice to get the globe shaped bottles. Vases are usually too tippy to use outside, but pitchers & sauce jars are awesome. Cobalt is my fav, and I have a few purple glass things. In the fall when I need a bunch in a short amount of time, beer bottles get invited to the party but something with a bigger opening is preferred for most stems.

All of those!
Right- larger opening than typical soda or beer, and shorter stature, is good! And I think it's better if they are not filled too high up the neck, I like the water to have good surface area. Some of the taller skinnier jelly jars or olive jars are good. I saw cherries and peaches in little pot like jars. Had to have one of those.
Plant it and they will come.

Guilty as well.

If I'd admit to buying any one product for the glass it'd be Pace salsa, 16oz.

Wasp waist about 2/3 up helps center and support cuttings, and the chunky medium is not that bad at all!

Devil wing begonia.
I know the submerged leaves aren't ideal but they be fine for a couple days before I dice them up.

Yeah, I can see that, I was talking to a patron at work how I like the water surface to have enough area for gas exchange. But the narrow part helps support the cuttings.
Plant it and they will come.
