But then nobody around here who saw him knew him, so chances are he was a foreigner from another nearby county and he crossed the line. It's a pretty close community; I doubt he'll be back anytime soon.

But thanks, I'm glad you like the stories. Sometimes I just have to write them down somewhere so I can come back and have another laugh. Here on this blog is about as good a place as any, I think.

Sure wish you lived close by, I've been out weeding daylilies this morning. I glanced out earlier and saw a weed that didn't belong and went out to yank it. Where there's one weed there are millions more. So that took care of the past 2 hours. It's a good thing I have the rest of the afternoon in front of me. I'm going to need it for sure!
