Hello!
I have a big problem, many of my house plants started to show brown patches in the last few weeks, but i have figured i had to give them more water or keep them more moisturized.
Yesterday I discovered that most of the plants have a ton of tiny black bugs crawling around on them. They are so small that I can barely see them, hence why it took me so long to notice. Does anyone know what these bugs are and what i can do against them? My roommate told me to spray the plants will alcohol, wait an hour and then rinse them. I did this with a few of them but later saw a moving bug on the ones i had already "cleaned", would you agree that this is the right technique?
I will add a picture, but you really have to look very closely to see the bugs.
