Not to worry, that's what moderators are for. Which is why the plants you add won't show up immediately in the database. (I just went through this with a new member). Sometimes things are approved really quickly, it just depends on how busy the moderators are. And you won't be able to upload photos to the entry until the new entry has been approved. You'll get a system message on your home page when the new entry is approved. And of course, acorns! I looked at your ebay list and you have some really interesting and lovely plants!
