Sorry about the fall!
I'd guess just gravity took over given the big top and relatively small pot.
But, I agree while it lost a couple leaves it will recover well.
I use garden sticks, or purchase thin bamboo etc, and you can use yarn, rubber bands... to gather in the remaining leaves a little. if they need it.
