Lily's are a protected from deer by growing in pots . Also gophers will come from ??? And eliminate any Lily's planted in the ground .
They do ust fine I pack them in pots and they bloom beautifully.

To protect my investment any thing that can be critter bait I grow in pots .

Well… did I mention the pesky chipmunks…. They like to dig in pots…a horticultural mint spray detours most other pests.
