Round up would have killed the entire plant.
Since other things have "melted", not really, they are turning soft because of the cold, that is what I think happened here.
I am not sure exactly what minus 6 Celsius is, maybe 23, 24 degrees Fahrenheit, that is way too cold for this plant. If you put my butt in a place like that, I am not going to look to good myself!
It's worse then I thought!! 21 degrees Fahrenheit!!! At that temperature plant cells freeze, the cells burst because of the water that they hold. Then they go soft and then black.
Orchid lecturer, teacher and judge. Retired Wildlife Biologist. Supervisor of a nature preserve up until I retired.
