Leftwood said: Since lilies have a bulb to absorb and disseminate the chemical to a non-lethal dose, it would be very rare if Round up could kill a lily outright in one full dose, let alone an accidental over-spray. The mottling is too evenly distributed to be from an over-spray. And if Dad had given it a good dose all over, this is not a Round up symptom a lily would show.

I can't be certain, but I still think it is virus. Technically, if new leaves are clean, it could still be virused, but not likely. If this is the case, I would keep it, and just keep a watch. LA lilies are kinda known for their virus tolerance, and that's a reason why many don't grow them: they could have a typhoid Mary in their garden and never know it.

Thanks, I will keep an eye on it, hopefully they will outgrow this condition. I think it's from cold because the higher the leaves the less symptoms, some newer leaves has rhis marbling effect just on tips, where the part that was still neatly packed in growing center has none as it was somehow protected from enviroment.

I have heard that LA lilies are tolerant, but I once had one Kamsberg virused in other part of garden and it was really messed up. All blotchy flowers with darker stripes and patches

Also my trumpets just melted from cold, it was -6 or -7C and when sun heat stoke in the following day they just turned to mush. Also mother said there was frost in morning on the top of plants…
