I used round up this spring for the first time on unwanted plants in my reclaimed rock garden. Among my targets were mulberry seedlings, cherry seedlings, dandelions and 90+ % of a tough Spiderwort that spreads by seeds.
The rock garden was a great target because it was a confined space of 8' x 8'.

Results after spraying at nine in the morning. By 6 pm, nothing apparent. By 9 am the next morning, lots of wilting and gray brown streaking. By the next morning after 48 hours, things were obviously dying. After a week, 90% of targets were dead. There was a scattering of newish green shoots. I hit it again and planted in the bed two weeks after spraying.
It really did the job. Wand applicator was very good. I sprayed carefully and thoroughly. Made sure it would be dry for the rest of the day.

Then used it in my elevated beds out front where the Spiderwort spread to and those babies died quickly, within 48 hours.
