Did you get tired of it? It is fun to observe the phases a plant can cycle through, then use that to create more of what you really love. After about 5 yrs of putting individuals in a bunch of different settings, it starts to feel like you're getting to know it, depending on the rate of growth. But when one has to take them inside over winter, the observations are always interrupted and short-lived. I have had plenty of these in much more sun over the years, but the purple stem is a pleasant surprise from this porch plant in just a few hours of AM sun.
