Incidentally, I couldn't help but notice that you're based in Perthshire, Scotland. Lucky you, as I am in the South. There is a play called "Little Women" at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre running until September 29th, I wish I could go but it's too far away. The theatre at Pitlochry is wonderful. Just over the hills from here.
People come and stay to enjoy the scenery, food and the theatre, from all over UK.
I have met a couple that have come by train from Plymouth to Pitlochry ...for many many years...always to the same self catering cottage and go to every show.
Every night is a different show.
