for healthier growth ....wait until spring ..when plant(s) return outside ...try to get all maintenance including pruning, lifting and repotting early spring ...that way, the plant have all summer to recover ...

cut "leggy" stems by about half ... from each new cut, 1 to 5 new stems will emerge ... pinch-out any new leaves that shade-out other new stems (shaded stems will die-off)...more stems will yield more stem tips - more stem tips will in-turn give you more flowers
