You must still have high humidity because the size of the leaves hasn't gotten smaller. While it's not as hot and dry as it was last year, our lowish humidity levels translates into smaller leaves. Last year, it was so hot and dry that almost all of my Brugs went dormant. It was like winter all over again, but the loss rate was much higher. I lost over 75 Brugs last year alone. This year the leaves are smaller, but the biggest danger to my Brugs is still grasshoppers.

Except for a few charred tips, your Brugs appear to be in excellent condition. Would you be able to put up some temporary shading over the plants?
