At my old place I just sorted according to registered height mostly. I did however, on the side of the house, do one bed with the colors going from yellow, orange, pink, red, to purple.
Now I just have the hybridizing area plus one other bed for show flowers. The show bed is sorted in form/size; mini, small, large, extra large, doubles, spider, UFs. That way it would be easier to know what is what when cutting the scapes for shows instead of trying to figure out which class they go in.
