Not intentionally, but It recently pushed many Windows patches and updates to us. I also got updates to Word & Excel and Outlook ... in that process they may well have updated or changed the version of Java support .
I'll check every few weeks at work to see if it "just gets better", but atg work I'm as much at the mercy of IT as at the (figurative) mercy of Microsoft.
I'll bet you're right.
