i have gang potted my seedlings some are 6 months old have a 2 gal pot and they are 5 in tall as soon as i can i have to separate them. Now dont be worried if they dont take off right away. there roots are very tender and if they break DONT worries they will grow back. I have some that where shipped to me and the root systems mostly get destroyed and 90% came back it just took time to form new roots.

so with this said when you step up from 4 in pot to a gal pot the roots will grow faster then the top and then POW they will jump very fast. Just like to make sure when we tell people re pot and watch them grow you are not disappointment in a few weeks when you see little growth it will happen and just do as you have been with taking care of them. if you have seedlings 4-6 in tall you have been raising them right or they would have wilted and died or dampened off

great job and you will not regret re potting.

so hey lets have a few pictures...

good luck and have fun!!
