I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Daylilies
That's Carved Pumpkin Pie in my avatar. First bloom was around June 21st, it's still blooming. The color really jumps out at ya and I love the sculpting!

Thanks for the input on sending seedlings south. I'll never see 25-30 buds on any of my seedlings or registered cultivars. Only did one time, on a Big Smile seedling that had 50 buds, but otherwise everything is pretty much in the "ten" range. I've seen registered cultivars at the AHS site that list 5 buds so this kind of had my mid reeling.

In the interim I guess I won't look for someone to grow any of my seedlings down south since it doesn't seem to be protocol.

Keep the opinions coming, much appreciated!
