And isn't it interesting how the yellow from L. leichtlinii and the light orange from L. maculatum produced a dark Holloween orange in the offspring. There is no variation of the color in all the babies so far: fairly usual for a primary species cross. At least some of them seem to be extremely vigorous. The single florets, of course, didn't bloom last year. However, numbers 1-3 had only one flower each last season! This year #1 has 15 (including 4 sercondaries) and #2 has 9 !
