This is usually what I do when I start to root my cuttings. I've always been told to let them callus over, but I've talked to some who juist stuck the plant in the ground and they grew. I take a little extra time to dip them in water than rooting hormones. Didn't want to take a chance of losing them. My climate is perfect for these tropical beauties. Just got 3 nice cuttings of a beatiful one and I'm about ready to put them in soil. Think I will stick with the perlite and potting soil this time. Thumbs up
