Cameron, I only have two plumies, but I've had one of them 4-5 years. After it got too big for my windows, I started just putting it in the garage. Then I don't bother it again until I bring it out in spring. It does fine like that (even that ccccccold winter in 2010-2011). Some of my other plants don't like it so much, but my inside spaces are filled with things that require 55+ temps.
