Why, I don't know but this Sago has a lot less freeze damage this spring than most of the others I see around this area.
I grew this from seed, it's about 10-11 yrs old. I put this pot in a shed this winter. I've not protected it before, but the weather was much more cold than usual.
Better look @ NOID sprout w/o so much debris in the way.
