Betty, do you have really cool nights in the spring that
cause the early to early mid daylilies not open? This is
the first year that I have had daylily problems on the
beginning and the end of blooming season.

They would not open in the spring, except for some older
ones which did just fine. Bloom time began about a month
earlier than usual. Then, I had less rebloom than usual. It
was more like recurrent bloom. We had to use shade cloth
for some due to the high temps. This year has been a hugh
adjustment for me and the plants.
