A few updated pictures which I took about a week ago. I've since yanked the overgrown, ratty-looking balsam. And the pot of purple monarda fried, and is now compost food.

My garden is a royal mess this year. It has been too hot to do any maintenance. The coleus really look better than anything else. But it does have the advantage of several hours of shade from the tree in the hottest part of the afternoon.
