Kathy, it makes sense.
My Rhyncholaelia glauca is opening a couple more blooms, I thought it was done for the season. It took the plant downstairs now to enjoy the lovely scent in the evening.
Never cut the spent spikes on Barkeria melanocaulon, it will produce more small spikes in the way Tolumnias do. The plant blooms this way for months!
Lc Fire Dance 'Patricia' is still a work in progress, but the "Fire" is starting to dance above the leaves. I am counting ca 25 spikes amongst the 2 plants.
Kathy, you asked how it was potted? Here you can see the coconut mat-lined wire-basket. In Summer I hang the baskets into the ceiling of the cage outside. And there is the Potinara Red Heart above it in its Coconut shell, it needs a better basket soon.
It was really raining hard yesterday in the left picture.
Dendrobium nobile var. album is still blooming in the ceiling. I had to sort of hold the camera into the direction of the blooms, there is no room to back up.
And today Vanda Martha Ragan still holds its blooms. ( Or should I say her)
Oerstedella centradenia hangs on
I also posted a whole bunch of stuff into the mini section

Hope you enjoy.
